CPR Class Description

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning courses equip students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults/children/infants.  The classes are designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace and other regulatory requirements.  These classes are taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session.  Upon successful completion, a valid 2 year digital certificate is issued.

Class Setting

• Online + Classroom - Combines the flexibility of online training with instructor-led skills check.
• Start taking your online portion immediately!
• Instructor-led skill sessions are held at Mesa County RSVP located in Grand Junction, CO inside the US Bank building on the lower level (enter on the south side of the building). This will take place AFTER completion of the online portion. Instructor-led session registration minimum: 3 students. The student will need to email their completion certificate for the online portion to the instructor PRIOR to attending the instructor led skill session or they will not be allowed to attend the class. *If less than 3 students register for a session, that session lass will be cancelled and the student(s) will be rescheduled or receive a refund. Instructor-led session registration maximum: 12 students.

Certification

Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates.  Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account.  Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid.  There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
